From now until November 16th, Best Yet Express will be accepting food donations to benefit the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. It is estimated that over 1 million people in Los Angeles County are at risk of going hungry, 400,000 of which are children. Sharp increases in the cost of living and the slow economic recovery are making it more difficult for LA families to make ends meet. More and more of these hard-working families are turning to the food banks for help. Due to this increased demand, food banks are in great need of donations.
Best Yet Express recognizes this need and is pleased to be accepting donations on behalf of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. We are encouraging all of our customers to donate any non-perishable goods they can to help support this worthy cause. The food bank is especially in need of canned meats, canned vegetables, canned fruits and peanut butter.
