As the economy continues to sputter along, many businesses are finding it difficult to stay afloat and survive. Fortunately, there are other businesses that are actually finding success and managing to grow. One such business is Best Yet Express, a local, Los Angeles-based Trailer load (TL) and Less than Trailer Load (LTL) freight company. Best Yet Express recently celebrated the one year anniversary of its upgrade to a new, larger operational facility.

New Facility for Continued Growth

May 1, 2012 marked the first anniversary of Best Yet Express’ upgrade from its former 6,000 square foot building to a new 38,000 square foot facility. Due to its continued success, the LTL trucking company increased to 50,000 square feet after only two months at the new facility. Best Yet Express’ new facility serves as a distribution terminal for its local LTL shipping operations and has tripled their dock spaces for high-volume loading, unloading and cross-docking consolidation. The new facility also enables short- and long-term storage of customers’ goods, under state-of-the-art security systems.

Great Improvements Over 2010/2011 Numbers

In addition to adding square footage to its warehousing facilities, Best Yet Express also saw significant jumps in its sales and shipment numbers. Transportation sales saw an impressive increase of 37.1%. Warehouse sales jumped an incredible 76%. TL and LTL shipping increased by 27%. Best Yet Express also added new equipment to its facility, including: 2 tractors, 1 straight truck and 1 trailer.
